Edjet uses the native font rendering of your browser and operating system. And because of that, text looks always accurate.
You can control font, text size, color, align, position, size, rotation, scale, skew and other text effects.
[video]To add a text element click on Add element button on the left side of the screen and then click Text.
When you select text element, the Inspector show you all the properties that apply to whole text box.
You can change font, size and color of the whole text.
To change how the whole text is aligned use left, center, right or justify options.
To change how the whole text is aligned vertically in a text box, use top, middle or bottom options.
To change other properties of a whole text box, adjust a padding, transparency, or other properties.
To activate text editing just double click on text element.

You can also select a text and drag it by mouse to new location.
While editing text, you can apply specific formatting like Bold, Italic, Underline, Striketrough, Text Color and Background color.

Note: There is a known issue in Firefox, when a pallet is expanded and you click anywhere outside, the Editor will crash.

If you want to open a web or document in the current frame:
Keep in mind: To open address in the current frame, the source has to be served over HTTPS and you should test if it’s working as intended. If not, the link has to be opened in a new window.
You can add a text link with email to address:
Keep in mind: When user click on link with email address, the browser will try to open a default email client with a new message to be sent. If however there is no client registered to do that, nothing will happened and user has to copy the email address and paste it manually.

Keep in mind: If a pasted text still contain some formatting, you can paste it first into a Notepad or other text editor that removes the formatting and then paste it to Edjet text box.
When you are satisfied with text, you can end text editing by clicking to a Close (X) button in a toolbar, or click anywhere outside the text box.
