Comment on courses

Viewing comments on course

To view comments on a course, visit a course page and scroll down to the Comments section.

Comments and their replies are threaded to make it easy to follow conversations.

Keep in mind: All comments are public and anyone can view and reply to a comment that you post.

Posting comments on course

To post comments on a course:

  1. Visit a course page and scroll down to the Comments section.
  2. Write your comment into input.
  3. Click Post.

Reply to comment on course

To reply to a posted comment:

  1. Visit a course page and scroll down to the Comments section.
  2. Find the comment you want to reply to.
  3. Click icon Reply.
  4. Write your comment into input.
  5. Click Post.

Cannot post comments on course

There are several reasons why you might not be able to post a new comment or reply to the course:

  • Course comments are disabled by publisher (if the course is free).
  • You are not signed in.

If you can’t post:

  • Make sure you’re sign in.

Formatting comments

You cannot use rich text to format your comment at the time.

The only allowed formatting are line breaks to create a new line or paragraph.

Note: If you add a URL to your comment, it will show as a text, not hyperlink.

Displaying comments after posting

Comments on paid course are displayed immediately.

Comments on free course are displayed immediately, or after review.

Comments are not displaying after posting

There are several reasons for this:

Edit comment after posting

You can update your own comments anytime, even after they have been published.

Edited comments are flagged. You can see the date and time of the last edit when you hover over the edit badge.

Keep in mind: If the comments require approval, the edited comment will be held and have to be reviewed.

Deleting comments

You can delete your own comments anytime, even after they have been published.

Keep in mind: Edjet never deletes comments unless they violate our rules for appropriate content.

Comment removed by publisher

Publisher can remove your comments from being displayed under his course only if the course is free.

Keep in mind: If you post comments on paid course, they cannot be removed unless they violate our rules for appropriate content.
